Acer Iconia W3 – First Windows 8 Tablet

Acer has reveled a beauty at Computex 2013,  it is the Acer Iconia W3 tablet with Windows 8.

If you have been holding off on buying a tablet because you want the tablet your purchase to have Windows 8, then the wait is over since the Acer Iconia W3 maybe the tablet you have been waiting for. As you might remember that the tablet was put up and then taken down from amazon but not before we could all see the specs it was going to have.

Well, the specs that were put up on amazon were in fact correct since the tablet does weigh 1.10 pounds and measures 0.45 inches thick. The feature list goes as follows: an 8.1-inch 1280 x 800 LCD display, Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail CPU, 32GB and 64GB of flash memory, but it is expandable thanks to the microSD slot. If you get the $79.99 full-sized keyboard you can turn the tablet into a Windows 8 laptop that will run all of your classic Windows apps. Pre-orders are already under way but the date when they will begin shipping is still a mystery. The Acer Iconia W3 will have a price tag of US$379.
