Acer Liquid Leap – Company´s First Wearable Smartband

New fitness accessory for fitness addicts from Acer, the Liquid Leap Wearable Smartband.

Acer had some good news for us today when they announced their first wearable Smartband called Liquid Leap. Fitness addicts now have another option when it comes to keeping track of their fitness goals and the fact that the Acer Liquid Leap also syncs with your smartphone is absolutely fantastic. The downside to all of this is that Acer was not too generous on the details but hopefully they will be in the near future.

The details that Acer did give on the Liquid Leap was that it is 17 mm wide and that it is not going to be sold separately but it will come with a bundle in the company´s latest flagship smartphone. This is bad news for those who won´t be getting the newest Acer Flagship smartphone  (5 Inch Liquid Jade Smartphone) but was interested  in getting Liquid Leap. If you are interested in getting the Liquid Jade smartphone and the Liquid Leap smartband, they are going to be available in late July or early August.



For now there are not plans for a U.S release but hopefully that will change soon. This was not Acer´s only announcement since they also announced their latest Notebooks, the Acer Aspire Switch10 that is a 2 in 1 notebook with a 10 Inch display and Windows 8.1 OS. Other features foe the Aspire Switch 10 are a HD IPS display, 64GB storage (500GB optional) Intel Bay Trail, and 2 front facing speaker.Acer Iconia Tab 7

The E series notebooks also received some new members such as the E14 and the E15 that feature an optional touchscreen. If you are interested in the 15inch models, that one features a gesture controlled touchpad and it can also give you up to 7 hours of battery life.When it comes to choosing a color, there are not going to be any complaints there since the E15 and the E14 are going to be available in 6 colors.

If you are a portable kind of person then you will probably be more interested in the Aspire E11 that features an 11.6 display. The prices for the Acer Aspire E14 and E15 are US$299 and the price for the E11 is US$269. ll 3 of them are going to be available in Europe, U.S, Asia and Middle east in June.

Acer was on a roll today since they also presented the Acer Iconia Tab 7 that features a quad-core processor, HD IPS display and 3G. The there is the Iconia One 7 that features dual speakers, Intel Dual Core CPU, and it is will be available in various colors. The Acer Iconia will be available in Mid May in Asia and Europe for a starting price of 149€. The Iconia One 7 will come to the U.S at the end of June for US$129.
