Today Acer jumped into the Tablet world with the presentation of three tablets.
When the brand name Acer comes to mind one usually thinks about laptops and netbooks and don’t come to think about tablets. That as a reasonable explanation since Acer has not made any tablets until now, for some reason they have been holding off on getting into the tablet market but sure enough saw that it was a good investment. Today Acer had an event in new York and presented 3 new tablets a 7 and 10 Inch Android and a 10 Inch Windows 7 tablet.
First lets look at the 10 Inch Android model which features Wifi and 3G connectivity, Aluminum casing, 13.3mm thick, HDMI port,1080p capability and another great feature is that it is going ot be able to run and play premium HD arcade games and complex online 3D games, and all of this is possible thanks to the 10 point multitouch and gyro meter control. The 10 Inch Android model is going to be available in April of next year.
There is also the 7 Inch Android tablet that features 1280×800 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio full touch screen. There is also a front facing HD camera, HDMI support, dual core processor with Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, Dolby Mobile Technology, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, DLNA, and will also be available in April of 2011.
Finally there is the 10 Inch Windows tablet that features a physical keyboard that you will find in the docking device it comes with. You can also count on it being 15mm thick and weighing less than 1Kg, will run on next-generation AMD platform, 2 1.3MP cameras, 3G and Wifi connectivity. This model is going to be available in February of 2011.
