Nexus One users are complaining to Google that the Android 2.3 update is killing their battery.
When ones smartphone gets an update you would think that things would all be better but that is not the case with Nexus One owners and their Android 2.3 Gingerbread. They are enjoying the new features that comes with the upgrade but at a price, the battery life. There have been numerous complaints of a problem with the OS and the smartphone not getting along when the phone is in idle.
Nexus One with Android 2.3 Gingerbread is registering a power usage of 40% or more. One user commented that his Nexus One ran through more than 40% of its battery in idle. Obviously that is not suppose to happen but Google is working on a solution. They have not said anything on the subject but have named the problem 15057 and hopefully they will have a solution soon. Are you experiencing any problems?
