Some people turn to Chromebook because of their low price but end up depriving themselves of power, design or industrial design. Acer hope that with the Chromebook 13 you will have what other want. This is the first Chrome OS laptop that has a Nvidia Tegra K1 processor and Acer hopes that this chipset is going to be power efficient and powerful.
If you want your Chromebook to last those 13 hours, you will need to get the model that goes for US$279 with a 1366 x 767 resolution but if you are happy with an 11 hour lifespan then you can get the more expensive US$299 1080p resolution model.
The Chromebook 13 is not an impressive improvement but is not the worst one would expect. The Acer Chromebook 14 features a grey/white plastic exterior, black keyboard, large trackpad.
The Chromebook 13 is 18mm thin, weighs 3.31 pounds, 2 3.0 USB ports. HDMI port but there is not SD cars slot. A release date for the Acer Chromebook 13 has not been announced yet but when it is, we will let you know with an update here.
