Freedom of speech obviously has its consequences but if you use FireMe! you will be able to fix that you tweeted while you still have a job.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that we have all hated our job at some point but have probably not said it out loud. But for those who have said it out loud and have even tweeted it,…well, sure enough you remember how stories we have heard about x person getting fired for what he or she said about his or her boss or the company itself. FireMe! should have definitely been created a lot sooner and maybe those people might still have their jobs.
What the APP does, is that it on the look out for really inappropriate words that express your desire to shoot, murder or torture your boss in any way. It also looks out for commonly used words such as, ¨I have my job¨ and when the app detects those words it send you a warning that you crossed the line and tells you to reconsider your tweet. You can obviously choose to erase your tweet or you can decide to let the tweet be.
Tweets are separated into four categories on the app: “Haters,” “Horrible Bosses,” “Sexual Intercourse” and “Potential Killers.” The app also features a “Leaderboard” that shows the “FireMe!” picks for the most incriminating tweets. There is also a FireMeter, that rates your tweet and tells you how likely you are to get fired for that tweet but it is safer not to tweet anything bad about your job or boss, just to be on the safe side.
