Gateway Launches NV59C66u Notebook with Integrated WiMAX

Gateway has announced a new notebook that is available and more to come. Notebook with integrated WiMAX.

Gateway today has announced another member to the Gateway family, the NV59C66u Notebook with Integrated WiMAX. With this notebook you are going to be able to integrate WiMAX Hardware and the WiMAX card that you are going to find in this notebook is the Intel 6250 wireless card, which gives you a reliable connection to both WiMAX and Wi–Fi networks but remembering that you can always choose the 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection.

Gateway has also announced more notebook to come in the Gateway NV Series notebooks and in those notebook  (including this one) you are going to find either a Intel Core i3 and Core i5, AMD Athlon and AMD Turion, processors, 4GB of DDR3 memory that is upgradeable to 8GB. Ample storage space is available for with high-capacity hard drives ranging from 320GB to 500GB.

Besides having the Intel Centrino Advanced-N+WiMAX 6250 WiMAX Wireless Card for a connection to WiMAX networks, there is also a HD Webcam with a 1280×1024 resolution. The spec list keeps going on with Gigabit Ethernet LAN connection, and you can even choose between a notebook with a 15.6-inch display with a 1366×768 resolution, or you can either get the one with a large 17.1-inch display provide even more clarity with 1600×900 resolution.

Thanks to the HDMI ports you are able to connect the Gateway NV Series to a home theater or external LCD for your entertainment needs. You can either choose between DVD or Blu-Ray drives, and  USB ports.
