The system of mobile payments Google already has a date to get to the brazilian market. The company marked a launch event in Sao Paulo for the morning of November 14 to display the Android Pay, which allows you to make payments at pos terminals card through the NFC chip of your smartphone.
The arrival of Android Pay to Brazil was announced in may, during the conference for developers Google I/O. In August, the Leisa reported with the exclusivity that some users were already able to register their credit and debit cards in the application. This is the second great service of its kind to be launched in the country, after Samsung Pay.
The list of partners starting of the Android Pay include Bank of Brazil, Bradesco, Caixa Econômica Federal, Itaú and Porto Seguro, in the Visa, Mastercard and Elo. Other financial institutions, as the Bank of the Neon, were not on the list announced originally by Google, but worked with the Android Pay in character of test, as the youtube video showed.
For payments in stores, the Android Pay requires devices running Android 4.4 KitKat or higher, no root, with NFC and LHH (Host Card Emulation). It is not necessary to have fingerprint reader. The pos terminal also need to have NFC support; fortunately, the majority of the terminals in Brazil have already is compatible.
