How can you unlock goodies in Mario Kart 8? With coins and the tracks will have them but you can only collect 10 per race. When you have collected 50, the game will give you a new kart, hang glider or tire but once you hit 1000 coins, the new features will only be unlocked with every 100 coins. Be careful that you don´t loose any coins, so you will have to be careful not to get hit by anything, not running off the edges and trying not to run into things. If you do any of these things, you will loose 3 coins every time.
