Instead of targeting customers MSI’s tablets will be for business and enterprise users.
More tablets to head our way and it is set to be in June and from MSI. They are 3 WindPad tablets that are set to be released and they are all 10 Inch tablets. These tablets are not going to be aimed at regular tablet users but rather business and enterprise users. Two of the tablet are set to have a Intel and AMD processors, and have for an OS Windows 7. The third tablet will sport a Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and run the tablet-optimized Android 3.0 “Honeycomb.”
The exact launch date is set for June 1st and a price tag of US$399 for the Android tablet but if it has an Intel processor then the price is going to go up to US$549. MSI has not given any info on how much the AMD-based WindPad is gong to set us back but hopefully they will say something soon.
The Intel WindPad is going to feature an Intel Atom Z530 processor running at 1.6 GHz, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR wireless networking,2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of flash storage, a mini-HDMI port for connecting to HDTVs, an integrated webcam, an SDHC card reader, single USB 2.0 port and the AMD version running a dual-core C-50 chipset. The Intel tablet will ship with the Windows 7 Starter Edition, as for the others we are going to have to wait to see what their deal is.
