Asus has finally presented their latest creation, the SUS PadFone at the MWC 2012.
Asus has kept us waiting but with so many smartphone, tablets and other devices to keep us with, time really flew. Whether you just couldn’t wait anymore or just completely forgot, it is here, the ASUS PadFone and it has finally been given a release date that is not very far away here at the MWC 2012.
Just in case you need a little reminder with the ASUS PadFone you will find three devices in one. First there is the smartphone that features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display and Android 4.0 for your Ice Cream Sandwich fix. The ASUS PadFone is able to be docked into a 10.1-inch tablet dock (which adds 5 times the battery life) and transforms it into a full tablet.
There is a new piece of information and that is that there is a third piece to this creation, which is a keyboard dock that locks into the tablet similar to the Transformer series. So we have a phone, a tablet and a netbook. Asus also added a a third piece to the equation, which is a keyboard dock that locks into the tablet similar to the Transformer series. So we have a phone, a tablet and a netbook.
Price and Availability for the ASUS PadFone
So far it is only known that it is going to be available in April but there is no exact date for the ASUS PadFone or a price. Let’s just cross our fingers that the price is a reasonable one.
