Nokia Will no Longer use Symbian Name

Nokia makes some changes and leaves behind the Symbian for another, which one?

I guess we all need a little change from time to time and the time has definitely comes for Nokia since they have decided to drop their famous Sybiam name and change it from from Symbian Anna/Bell to Nokia Anna/Belle. Nokia said that they will be rolling out to a number of devices currently running Nokia Anna. Nokia said that the Nokia N8, C7, and C6-01 will be sold with Belle preinstalled moving forward, and that Belle will be distributed to the existing user base of the N8, E7, E6, X7, C6-01, C7, and Oro handsets starting in February. Belle boosts the number of home screens from three to six and improves the performance of home screen widgets.

Nokia Belle brings you more home screens, expanding the current three home screens you get with Nokia Anna to six. That’s more screen real estate to host your apps and widgets.  The home screen widgets have been improved and made more functional than before. Plus some of them, such as the email widget, give now much more information making reading emails much easier at a glance.
