Samsung has finally revealed the official specs for the Galaxy S III Mini, see if it is worth buying it or not.
When we heard rumors that Samsung was going to come out with a Mini Galaxy S III, I don’t think there was not one Samsung fan that was not jumping for joy. After the euphoria passed, we stopped to think if it was going to have the same pecs as it’s big brother and for the moment there was nothing to make us think that it wasn’t. Then some leaked specs came out and they were obviously disappointing but since they were only rumors, there was still hope.
Unfortunately, the rumors ended up being true and we have ended up with a Galaxy S III, that is not at what we hoped for. The specs that Samsung has created for the Galaxy S III Mini are as follows:
a 4-inch WVGA display (4.8 Normal Galaxy), resolution of 480 x 800 (720 x 1280 regular Galaxy) Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, Google Now, measures 121.55 x 63 x 9.85 mm, weighs 111.5g, 1.0 GHz dual-core STE U8420 processor ( normal Galaxy has a Li-Ion 2100 mAh) 1GB of RAM, 8 and 16GB storage options, and a 1,500 mAh battery while the regular Galaxy S III has a Li-Ion 2100 mAh), 5MP rear camera with LED flash (8MP regular Galaxy), and a VGA front facing cam while the big Galaxy S III has a 1.9MP cam.
For now there is no word on when it is going to be available or the price for the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini but when that info becomes available, we will let you know.
