Samsung will make the launch of the Galaxy S III a very important day will not be MWC 2012.
Until Samsung set things straight, well assumed that the Samsung Galaxy S III was going to be presented at the MWC 2012 seem it seemed the perfect event to do so in. Things have changed and Samsung has made it clear that they will be presenting new mobile devices at the big event but that the Galaxy S II will have an event of its own.
“Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012. The successor to the Galaxy S2 smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product.”
This may also be a move to directly compete against the iPhone 5 that is set to launch in July. No complaints here, just as long as Samsung doesn’t delay the Galaxy S III until 2013 or something like that. Samsung has not said when they are going to be sending out the invitations but we will keep you posted.
