Google and Twitter have come to an agreement so that we will soon see tweets in the search results.
In order to give us content in real time, Google has struck a deal with Twitter. These two companies have already been working together on this, so we could very well see the results in the near future.
Twitter is not going to be receiving any advertisement revenue, but Google will be paying Twitter in order to be able to access the tweets. Twitter hopes that this new deal will get more people going to Twitter, whether they are regular, inactive or new users.
Bing already has a similar deal Twitter and now it is Google´s turn. Lets hope that things go well this time around since this is not the first tine Twitter has teamed up with Google. They had a rocky relationship back in 2011, but hopefully things will workout this time.
Google will not be showing all of the tweets, but only the most recent tweets and only the most important ones. Looks like we have no choice but to wait and see if things work out this time.
